Anna Flahaut

My name is Anna Flahaut. I am a mother, business women, and food junkie. I am originally from Wyoming where I became a teen mom at the age of 17. To better myself and my son, I knew i needed to explore other communities. My first move was to Washington where I started my love for money as a casino dealer. In my 4 years there, I advanced my knowledge in many card and dice games allowing me to become a floor supervisor. This experience gained me many diverse friendships including my coworkers, casino patrons, and community members. The different cultures at the casino exposed me to so many wonderful foods which has significantly influenced my love for all types of food. If I had to give a recommendation for trying something new I would say home made Asian spring rolls with peanut sauce or home made chicken green chilie tomales. Are you hungry yet?!

As much as I love to talk about food, I want to share a few more loves I have in life which include my family, friends, dog, and need for travel. If you know me you know how important my family is. Always looking for opportunities to spend time together and find new adventures. Sharing new experiences with the people I love is the highlight of my life! My now 17 year old son and I decided a few years back we would travel to a new state every year for his birthday. This has been such a great adventure as I navigate through the struggle of him becoming an adult and making sure we still stay close through travel. My dog, Tiger will be 8 in May. I adopted her at 5 months old from an animal shelter. She currently eats a raw diet due to the allergies she has. Talk about learning new things!

I met my significant other in Wyoming and quickly found myself embracing a new journey to Wisconsin in 2017 with him and my son. I started a job in banking that lead to my career path. I currently work as the Branch Manager of both the Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids branches of First State Bank. When I joined the bank I was impressed by all the inspirational leaders on the team. I knew then that this would fulfill my personal growth needs and I was here to stay. I have been supported on my journey of becoming a leader of both branches through training, book clubs, leadership conferences and classes. First State Bank not only supports the employees they have but continue to look for ways to support the communities we live in by giving the best customer service experience you could ask for. We work as a team to become the one stop shop for all your financial needs and wants.

If you'd like to connect let's meet for food. I love trying new places!!
